TFTF #3- Dubleup: The first power bank that you'd want to use.

This article is 3rd in the series, Tech From the Future.

Smartphones are being overused. Every application that one could imagine on a PC of yesterday has been rendered more or less on phones today. The problem is, with all this increased applicability, what else has increased is the amount of juice needed. The smartphone battery has not evolved in proportion to the rest of it, and hence all of us face battery issues. While powerbanks are a workaround, they aren't really as portable as they claim to be. Their bulky designs and wire woes have rendered them a last option. Dubleup is a powerbank which aims to change that.

Doubleup Powerbank

The selling point of Dubleup is its size. The device has the same length and breadth as a credit card, and is only a tad bit thicker. Which means, it can be carried around in a wallet. Dubleup does not require any external cables, and has an inbuilt cord. The device is MFI certified, which means that it has received Apple's stamp of lightning port support and thus can be used with any Apple device without worrying.

However, there are some downsides. Such a small size packs only 1280mAH, which is enough to save your phone from dying, but not enough to charge your phone completely even once. Also, it claims to have around 500 charge cycles, which means its not built to last.
