Personalisation is an integral component of the smartphone experience. With phones becoming slimmer, colorful, vibrant and what not. This experience remains incomplete if the UI doesn't stand out, courtesy wide range of utility applications.Today we talk about the Contextual App Folder (C.A.F.) - a one of it's kind personalization application.
With the multitudes of apps that we deal with, it is easy to get lost in the app drawer. Even if you are a guy who keeps folders, its still a hassle to wade through and find the right one. What if you get access to the exact apps you need, based on context? This is what C.A.F. is all about. So how does it work?
We select a trigger for our C.A.F. (say, when headphones are plugged in).Then we select the applications we would want at that time (music applications - no more hassle :) right!). When it happens our folder changes and contains our music apps. The triggers cover almost all the common scenarios-Headphones, GEO Location, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Charging, Calling, Tasker and App-Notification. You can also customize the look of the folder - have a 3x3 grid or Pixel view; the color of the folder, etc.
Bottom Line- A fresh take on simplifying and speeding our daily activities. Overall, a nice application worth going for.
