How to record a video on any smartphone?

Screenshots are a great way to put forward the content you desire to explain but sometimes pictures aren't enough. You need to actually show how you reached a point and that is where video recording comes into play. Today we tell you how you can do it and be smart.

Android:-

Most of the things in Android are an app away. Download the app and you are good to go. So is recording a video is just as simple. There are a lot of apps but you may try AZ Screen Recorder or Mobizen. Both are free and easy to use. You have the convenience of setting up the record settings as you require like fps, quality, resolution, etc.

iOS:-

Doing the same on an iPhone is not equally easy but having a Mac will help you out. You can use the in-built screen recorder of Quick Time Player to do it. Here's how you can do it.

  • Connect your iPhone to your Mac with the lightning cable
  • Launch QuickTime Player and click File -> New Movie Recording.
  • A Movie Recording Window pops up. Click the down arrow to the right of the red record button.
  • In the pop up menu, select your iPhone under both Camera and Microphone.
  • One the display shows up, hover over the window with your mouse and a small control panel shows up in the lower portion of the window. Set your volume with the slider and click record when you're ready.

Done. Pretty neat, right?
