How to play a song on two phones at the same time?
This concept is not new and was popularized by Samsung Group Cast but has moved from it's unique status, thanks to third-party application like Ampme and Soundseeder that tune multiple devices together to turn every phone into a portable speaker. While most of the apps are limited in terms of the number of devices and the playback time, one app that is devoid of all this is Ampme.
How many times did you feel that the volume of your phone was a bit too low? Or, you wanted to sync to your friend's phone to collectively enjoy music?
Ampme says "Turn your friends into a Portable Sound System" and it does that job pretty well. It is very simple to use. One of the devices acts as a host. They say hosting the party. Then the other devices can join by finding the nearby parties or by clicking on the link that the host generates. Tada! Done. You can stream songs from your personal library, YouTube and SoundCloud. You can even adjust the delay by adjusting the offset manually so that the song works in sync.
Honestly, I was pretty skeptical that the app would work so great. Even at long distances, the streaming worked perfectly fine. Go ahead and party now. Use it and share your party experience down below.
